Walking in the woods

Mark, BuddyTheElf and I took a walk through the woods this afternoon. There is still enough snow to snowshoe so I plan on taking full advantage of it. Mark doesn't get as excited as I do about snowshoeing so he waded through the snow in his boots. Bet he wishes he had worn the snowshoes afterwards.

In a frozen puddle I spotted a "star" in the ice.
Here are a few of Mother Nature's Christmas decorations. The round ice drop was so pretty.

The ferns are still green even with all the snow. Something bright against all the white.

I'm glad you're enjoying your snow -- the pictures are beautiful. It also sounds as if you will enjoy having Ashton back.

Hi Cheryl, Looks like a fabulous walk in the woods for you all. George and I have been hiking in the Brevard, NC area in the mountains. We didn't have snow--but it was very cold....I loved it though!!!

Love Mother Nature's 'gifts' for us to enjoy..
Hugs,
Betsy

Love those round ice drops, Cheryl. It's too darned cold here today to do much walking.
