Time for a change: A New Blog Title and Look!

Ashton called me awhile ago and asked if I would like her to "update" my blog look. Of course I said yes! She has been the "blog specialist" over the year that we blogged together. She called back a few minutes ago and told me to check out the blog. VOILA! A spankin' new look and a new title, also courtesy of Miss Ashton! I love the color brown and she tied in all in, I am thinking that the pinkish color might be sort of a tie in with her favorite color. She suggested the title, as she knows I have been torn about changing (or rather, ME letting go of our Mommy and Me blog!) and making it a blog for myself. I have had several great suggestions for new names. Thanks bloggers.

An update on the injection. I had cortisone today instead of Syvnisc-One. The doctor wants to make sure my left knee is o.k. first and this would be a temporary fix. I have been very good, icing the knee all afternoon and staying off the trails! Its been hard but I have to behave myself. My next option may be a knee replacement this fall......gulp! But at 52 I don't want to give up my very, very active life.

I like the new look and the new title. I certainly hope the injections do the job with your knees and that you won't have to give up these wonderful hikes.

I like your new blog. I am a nut for changes on blogs but don't have one as fancy as your's.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

Great new blog design and title, Cheryl. Sorry to hear your knee is giving you trouble and sure hope you won't need a knee replacement.

I love the new look too! I love the colors and the cute scrapbook paper. I hope the injections will help your knees so you don't have to get knee replacements. Nice picture!

I love it, Cheryl. Ashton did GOOD.... Is that YOU in that picture???? You are such a young chick!!!!

My friend had both knees replaced--and it helped SO much. She has had arthritis really bad--and has also had a hip replaced. BUT--she still walks and gets around as best as possible..

Keep us posted... How did the fisherman do???? Bring home some good eatin'????
Hugs,
Betsy

Grorge: Thanks for stopping by. I cannot imagine not being able to hike! Will try whatever it takes to keep on going!

Abraham Lincoln: Thanks for the compliment on the blog changes. Leave it to my daughter to "spice" up her mom's blog.

Lin: Thanks. Glad you like the changes. I really like the title you had suggested. Thank goodness Ashton pushed me gently into the new look! Now its all up to me!

Aunt Jean: Thanks. I hope I won't have to blog about surgery, recuperation,etc.,etc.!!

Lucy: Hi, glad you stopped by! Have to give all the credit for the new look and title to Ashton.

Melissa: Thanks for stopping by. Imagine you are busy as all get out!!

Betsy: Woo-hoo, you made my day with the "young chick" comment! Seriously. I was encouraged when I read that your friend had great results. The fisherman caught a bass, pickeral and something else that I can't remember. He is a catch and release fisherman so I don't have to clean fish! And he nicely went to Moody's Dinner where we had breakfast yesterday and bought me a dozen plain doughnuts like I had there yesterday! Now thats a great guy! I don't plan on eating the whole dozen myself, have shared with Mark's Nana and my mom!
