Today is Ashton's 18th birthday. She decided to come into the world three weeks early and arrived on her Aunt Margaret's wedding day. Robbie became an instant Uncle! What a nice surprise to have the newly wed couple arrive at the hospital after their reception so I could see them all dressed up, since the hospital Ashton and I were in was about 30 minutes away. I had sooo looked forward to my little sister's wedding day for months and wouldn't you know it, Miss Ashton would change all my plans.
Here are my two sons, Benjamin is the little guy on the left, all dressed up for his Auntie's wedding. He was 5 years old. Courtney was handsome in a tux as he was an usher for the wedding. He was 12 years old. Both boys came to the hospital after the wedding to see their new baby sister. I am so happy that plenty of photos were taken.

Well... I'm singing at the top of my lungs, "Happy Everything to Your Famileeeeeee... Happy Everything to Youuuuuuu..."
I am. I'm not just saying that.
And just remember to say thanks next time you say a lil prayer that you can't hear me.
Seriously, enjoy all that you have, and hug your boys and your sweet daughter Ashton (who has a serious sense of bad timing)evry chance you get....no matter how many birthdays they celebrated.
Margaret: I guess you couldn't very well change the wedding date...And I forgot when I did the post that it was also our Grandmother's wedding anniversary, I remember Grammy telling me that when she came to the hospital after the wedding!
Lucy: There is no excuse in our family to forget either the birthday or the anniversary!
Lin: We just all get together and have a big celebration!
Jean: Oh my, I had forgotten about the pink headband Aunt Jean!
Ashton had more visitors that day.
