Sunday Sauntering

BuddyTheElf and I took a nice walk today on the Land Trust next door. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon for a walk.

I never really looked at flowers once they had stopped blossoming but lately I have found what I think is more beauty left behind. Makes me just walk a bit slower nowadays

The clouds for some reason seemed extra fluffy today!
P.S. Note the change to my title, still working on a new name for it! Since the "Me" of "Mommy and Me" has recently started her own blog, ashtonanne.blogspot.com I guess the "Mommy" needs to get her very own identity!

Cheryl, those are some beautiful flowers! Some I've never seen before if not any. What is that flower with the purple leaves that curve? And, yeah, your own identity to cover up your super powers is excactly what you need! :)

Wow--you still have alot of pretty flowers and color up there, Cheryl. Looks like a nice walk...

Yes--it's now just you... Can you believe that your baby is gone??? Time goes so fast. It only seems like a few years ago that our babies were born, doesn't it????? Mercy Me!!!!

I feel old today when one of my blog friends reminded me (in jest I'm sure) that in 1960--when I attended my prom, she was BORN that year. Yipes!!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

Dez: I'm working on my new secret identity!! Thanks for the smile!

Betsy: Yes, we do have flowers in bloom, probably for another few weeks. The foliage will start changing in a couple of weeks and usually by mid-October its a-blaze here with color! I actually had a much better week this week, with the empty nest, I focused on all my blessings and really tried to think as me, not as Mom!

Lin: Thanks. I really, really like the name you suggested! Its perfect! I have been taking photos for about 18 months now and I think I will try matting and framing some....Its strange, but I volunteered alot when the kids were little, I taught Sunday School for many years and delivered library books to shut-ins. I think I will look into some other avenues.

Really spectacular photos, Cheryl. I love them all. They look so out of the ordinary. I wonder if you really can change the title of your blog. Are we able to do that?

I think those clouds have some egg white whipped into them, Cheryl. Great photos, which is par for the course with you. I meant to snap photos of my clematis flowers after the petals had fallen off, because what was left behind was almost as amazing as the flowers themselves. Of course I never got to it, though.
