A few favorites....

My daughter Ashton http://ashtonanne.blogspot.com/ recently posted about some of her favorite things so I thought I would as well as I got all my favorites for my birthday. At the very top of my list would be roses. Mark brings me roses ALOT (I am very spoiled!) and these shown here were for my birthday. I don't know how he manages but every bouquet has been different. I had never had these prettily colored ones before.

I love totes from LLBean http://llbean.com/. For some reason I had trouble with this photo. This tote is a reddish-pinkish-roseish color. Inside was another favorite of mine....as well as this funny

magnet. Benjamin and Allison gave me this tote.

The bag held a candle and magnet . Allison knew my favorite candle was roses but it was no longer available. She did some detective work, even calling the company and voila, found the scent here: http://yankeecandle.com/ Benjamin and Allison also treated me (and Mark) to lunch yesterday and we had a nice afternoon together.

Another item high on my list of favorites is having a facial or mani-pedi or massage at a favorite spa here in town. I never indulge myself but....again voila, my mom gave me a gift certificate to the spa for whatever indulgence I want! Hmmm....what shall I enjoy?

I drink coffee and like to collect unusual, colorful or funny coffee mugs. I spotted this ceramic mug at USM the day Ashton moved into her dorm. So again, voila and the mug was a nice present from Ashton.

OOO-LALALA....do I ever love Victoria's Secret! Not for the "clothing line" however but one of the fragrances they offer which is "Pear Glace". Voila, Mark presented me with enough lotion to last for some time. Also my new laptop and camera were early birthday presents from him. To end the very nice day I had I received a phone call from Courtney. He was away so it was a pleasant surprise to talk to him. He promises me a lunch wherever I choose....Many thanks to all of my "favorite people" who made my day wonderful! I know Ashton has carved a pumpkin for Halloween this year (with her boyfriend!)but this is the first year she and I didn't pick one out together. I couldn't resist this little pumpkin so I am continuing our tradition, on a smaller scale!
