Sunny day hike

I am not quite sure what kind of ducks these are, first time I have ever seen one with this type of bill. Perhaps a sea duck.
Tidal saltwater marsh.
We hiked Ovens Mouth West trail today, about three miles. It was a gorgeous day.
Such a pretty path to follow.
This small waterfall was beside the trail. It was running fast, after all of the rain we had (again) the past couple of days.
Just playing with the camera but liked the outcome. Almost a misty look.
And of course, I found a heart-shaped rock!

You find the most interesting and beautiful things on your hikes, Cheryl. The water fall is great, especially when you fiddled with your camera to get a clever shot.

Cheryl, Your walk looked heavenly. I love seeing the little waterfalls and cascades --even when they are small. I love seeing all of the ferns along the path. What a neat hike you obviously had.

Hugs,
Betsy

Very nice post. I enjoyed my hike with your guys. I can't do things like that anymore so it is nice to see what others are doing.

I wanted to tell someone who understands more about photography than just pushing the shutter button that your visit will count and help make history. Pick a Peck of Pixels
