Saturday

Good morning sunshine!
Welcome sight this morning after MORE rain!
Such a pretty pink. This summer I have enjoyed seeing the lilies bloom as they weren't destroyed by bugs like last summer.
It was neat to hike this afternoon even though the fog lay heavy all around us. I think the fog makes things look "softer".

The sea lavender is doing great, will be bursting into pretty little flowers soon. We are so very fortunate as it grows in our back yard, along side the tidal brook. Nature has been very good to us!
Webs spotted on our usual Saturday hike, today at the Porter Preserve.

Backyard visitor. Maybe the little fella that followed his mom around last summer in the yard? They visited us alot last summer, during daylight hours even. I guess they knew we enjoyed their company and would never harm them.

Wow! Cheryl, these are breathtaking photos! Your header made me sad. But then again, it's upbeat, too because you know your baby is strong enough, smart enough and brave enough to leave the nest.

lovely photos, so cool and daisies are my favorite flower.

I love daisies, too, but then I like just about every flower. Beautiful photos, and I love your comment about the fog making the scene look softer. That's so true.

I have not been able to get a good photograph of a spider's web but you dot a couple of nice ones. I like the photo of the female red-bellied woodpecker too. Nice shot.

Your visit will count and help me Make History. Pick a Peck of Pixels

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I appreciate them very much! I enjoy sharing my casual clicking! Since Ashton is getting ready for college I guess I will have to focus on photography!
