More odds and ends

*%#@^&$ chipmunk!!! But seriously, I do enjoy watching the little fellas and can't begrudge a few seeds as long as its only ONCE IN A WHILE!!
Mr. Bud keeping a careful eye out for someone who might steal the leftovers from the picnic we were enjoying...

Yay! There is sunshine!

Mark and I were impressed by this little boat, spotted on Saturday while we were out hiking. This shot was taken on the opposite shore of the river we live near.

Even when raining, there is always something to smile about!
Leaf from ?? Discovered this yesterday and thought how pretty it still was, even after its "bloom" time.
Almost ready....

View from the bridge adjacent to our property, looking out towards the river. Yup, the river into which we dragged our kayak last summer, through all the mud when the tide left...yup, that gorgeous full river now.... the same river I took the photo of the little lobster boat on.

A "cheep thrill" to have a cardinal visit, this is our first summer of having a pair visit.

Wildflowers spotted on a recent picnic and hike.

I loved all your photos, Cheryl but something about those ducks on the water... the design of it with the reflections that really grabs me.

Smart little squirel. Maybe there are no more nuts on the trees. :)
By the way, I am so happy to be here in your blog that I found through Lin.
Have a happy weekdays, Cheryl. :)

Butterflies are nice. These Fritillary butterflys are usually plentiful this time of year here where we live but we have not seen any so far this year.

I liked the boat on the river picture too. Nice.

Thank you very much for visiting my Abe Lincoln Blogs and for the comment you left me there.

Kay: It was if they "posed" for me, they floated there for quite some time.
Lin: Thanks for the compliment!
Hi I'm Grace: Welcome and please come back again!
Abe Lincoln: The butterflies are here everywhere this year, very early I think.
Robyn: Thanks kiddo, I am practicing to take your Senior photos in a few years!
