A fun tradition

I know, I know, you are all wondering what the heck is she doing showing us her laundry? There is a logical (at least to Ashton and I) reason for this photo. When Ashton was just a little girl she and I would pick out a "special" pair of holiday socks for her to wear. There were Valentine, Easter, Halloween and Christmas socks. Even though she is a big girl now, she still has to have her "fancy" socks for the holidays! It may seem a silly thing, but I cherish this tradition we started together. It is just one of our special times. I find its the small things that really matter. Now here is another holiday tradition Ashton has. Toe socks! She loves wearing them and again, each holiday needs to be celebrated with an appropriate pair. This year for Halloween we even found candy corn Halloween slippers. Its an inexpensive and practical tradition as well. You can always use socks...

Those socks are so adorable! I love all the colors and different designs. Each one is very special. Hmm...socks.... that's something I don't wear often in Hawaii. I used to have a whole drawer full in Chicago.

What a neat tradition, and the socks are so cute. Love the ones with toes, especially. I have Christmas socks, but that's it.
