Yes! The big day arrived. I dug out my snowshoes and got all rigged up in my winter gear. Mark, the Budster and I headed out into the woods behind our house and hiked up a woods road and then out onto the marsh. It was so pretty out there. I have now become now a former "winter-disliker". Last winter I started snowshoeing with Mark and Ashton and became hooked. Its great exercise and a way to get out and embrace the longest season we have! I snowshoe through good and bad weather, zero temps and all. I thoroughly enjoy seeing Mother Nature dressed up in her winter finery, instead of being inside complaining about the cold and slush piles. She certainly is beautiful through all the seasons. Oh, mercy. This means we need to dig out our snowshoes, too, and strap them on. I hadn't even thought of doing that yet, but your photos and commentary are very enticing....
We probably had about 5" of new snow. It was a little rough going in the woods, alot of trees have fallen and I kept stumbling over them, hidden under the snow! I spent about two hours aside today so should sleep good tonight.
Sounds like fun and you took some beautiful pictures, as usual! After todays storm, you'll have plenty of snow, can't wait to see the pictures!
