Lois of From Lois' Hands has nominated me for a Beautiful Blogger Award. I am flattered to say the least! Thank you so very much Lois. I am to tell you ten things about myself that you may not know, then nominate ten more people for this award but as I always do I offer it to anyone who would like to tell us a little more about them. Here are ten things about me:
1. I have never changed the weight on my drivers license. It says what I weighed when I got my license at 18 and it sure isn't that now.
2. I have a unusual shade of blue polish on my nails...love to polish with bright colors.
3. I always fall asleep at the beach.
4. I wished my middle child's hair had stayed blonde...but it darkened!
5. I have lived at the same address for 33 years.
6. I hate pumping gas.
7. I wished I could give my mom everything she could ever want.
8. I single-handedly took my two youngest children to Disney World four times....and had just as much fun as they did, if not more.
9. I love watermelon, pineapple, oranges and green grapes.
10. I have been married twice on two different Caribbean islands, in two different types of ceremonies to the same guy!

I also have a dislike of filling the car up, have lived in the same house for over 30 years (37) love same fruit as you but ask my husband to renew his vows and their is a flat - I loved it so much the first time we could never recreate it darling. Still working on that ine lol

We have some things in common. the weight on my drivers license hasn't been updated (or upped) for many years, I lived at this address for 32 years, and I also hate to pump gas!

Congrats Cheryl!! Love your first response. Come to think of it, you just fill out the info ourselves when we apply and renew our drivers license. Well unless your obviously 5' and you put 6' then DMV will make you correct it.
Hi all...I will clarify what #10 is: Mark and I were married in Antigua on March 5, 2002. It was a beautiful and very meaningful ceremony with just the two of us. Plenty of champagne and a wedding cake, next morning breakfast in bed with more champagne! We had a beautifully decoratd villa on the ocean side lit with candles and decorated with sweet flowers for a private dinner for us. We had a great waiter to assist! So when our 5th anniversary was approaching we went to Jamaica and had a Renewal of Vows ceremony with the most amazing minister! We were barefoot in the warm, soft sand and reaffirmed our vows. And after that another big party with plenty of champagne and a PRIVATE dinner in a villa on the water with a private waiter! Hopefully when we celebrate our tenth anniversary in 2012, we will be able to afford to visit another Caribbean island, hopefully St. Lucia.
Sounds like an ideal second time around to me.
