Its quite a mix of objects- a snow shovel and snowshoes as well as the boxes sharing space. I took this photo this morning. The temps today were in the mid 50's which is approximately 50 degrees warmer than the start of the week was. Buddy took advantage of the warm porch to soak up some sun.
He was soon joined by Ashton.
We are all experiencing spring fever here in the household. I noticed the boot is missing from her foot, lets hope she was just trying some "heat" therapy on it. About two more weeks to go then she gets rid of the boot and then will have a brace. She says she can't wait to drive soon. Its been 5 weeks since she last drove, in teenager years it is probably seems like 50 years.
I found Ashton her "Easter" socks recently as well as Easter decorations for her bedroom window. Now that she is graduating from high school I suppose she will want to forgo all these holiday traditions I have done for her since she was probably 1! She always has had to have pretty decorations for her bedroom window and of course, the socks.
A few weeks ago I read on one of my very favorite blogs travelerswife.blogspot.com about capturing photos of icicles as well as a photo she snapped of her husband patiently awaiting a drop from the icicle. It intrigued me so much that I thought I would try it....its no easy task but I enjoyed the challenge. Now all the icicles are gone and the snow is slowly going...

Aaaaaaaaaackkkk! You did it! You actually got that drip of water falling!!!! Wait till I show Art! How amazing to see Ashton sitting out there in a t-shirt with snow all around! Ahhhh... spring. I do miss having spring. I really do.
HEAT WAVE!!! I actually opened windows in the ER today! Wish I was outside enjoying it - but setting clocks ahead, is another sign Spring is coming!! GREAT picture of the icicle and water dripping!!!
Mooooommm! Those are such terrible pictures of me! Can anyone say bedhead?!
Cheryl, I just showed my husband and he is tipping his cap to you. He said, "Congratulations! Your patience has paid off!" He was very impressed!
Haha. Ashy. That shirt looks familiar!
Love the photos of the droplets of ice melting, Cheryl. It must've taken patience to capture them.
Hi everyone: Trying to get a drop from an icicle was so hard. I took my camera to work as the icicles were there. I spent most of my 30 minute lunch break zooming in on the icicles! I just started snapping and was lucky enough to finally capture a few drops. It doesn't take much to amuse me...Kay, your photo of Art awaiting the "drop" was the inspiration for me to do so. I learn alot from your blog!
Robyn: Auntie could have but didn't post a photo of Ashy with her p.j. bottoms hanging off her....That shot would have made her bedhead look glamorous!!
BED HEAD!! There, I said it Ashy!
Instead of bed head, Tun how about ---- Head I think it is more befitting.
