Since winter has arrived full force with highs in the 20s lately I thought sharing a memory of a late summer trip with you would be a spirit-lifter! We took a dear family friend and my mom on a trip to Port Clyde which is about an hour or so from where we live. It is a lovely little coastal village.
Love the old bathtub that must hold lobsters for sale...the only thing floating in it was lobster buoys when we were there.
A gorgeous view of the inner harbor....
Mark noticed that this metal contraption was a shape of a sail and we loved the lobster buoys decorating it.

After we left Port Clyde we drove to the Marshall Point Lighthouse. What a beautiful spot indeed.
We walked out to the lighthouse and just took in the beautiful day. I certainly could have spent hours here!
And to make a wonderful day even better-a heart-shaped rock!

The blue of the sky and water, the colorful harbor, the rocks, the lighthouse -make one's day look like a real gift from God.
