Hearts, hearts and more hearts

Yesterday was a beautiful day here, with the temperature in the high 60s. Heavenly! I found the three little heart-shaped rocks while working in my perennial garden.

I found this pretty one at Fort Popham last Saturday.
The heart rock above also came from Fort Popham. The following heart-shaped rocks all came from a walk at Linekin Preserve.

Wow Cheryl, You are the queen of finding hearts... I'll bet --out of all of the rocks we have seen the past couple of months, that there are lots of hearts--but I didn't see them. I need you with us to find all of the hearts...
Hugs,
Betsy

These are so pretty. I love your heart-shaped rocks that you always find and share with us. I agree with Betsy above. I think you have a special talent of seeing the hearts in what I would think of as "just" rocks.

Your'e a friend after my own heart, Cheryl...I've collected rock hearts over the years too. I have one on my latest post and my grandson just found one yesterday almost identical to your third from the bottom one. Enjoyed your hearts!

Hearts are supposed to be an easy to find thing in Nature. I would think a tree would qualify for having a straight line but they say not. So, apparently there are no straight lines in Nature.

You have more success in finding heart-shaped rocks than anyone I know. These are good additions to your collection.

Hi Cheryl, I really admire someone like you. You see beauty in everything, everywhere.
Others will walk past oblivious to their surroundings or beneath their foot, but you will see and appreciate.

I guess the stones or rocks all have their own stories too....they're beautiful when you present it this way....not just rocks or stones afoot, but creations of beauty.
You have fun and enjoy the Spring....
Best regards, Lee.

Did you take the hearts back home and form your own hearts' garden? Each time some one visits, you have a story to tell.

How cool is that! You see and find hearts everywhere!! It is also one of my favorite card games! I play daily on my computer with 3others...west, north, and east!!

Cheryl said...

Ann: No, I don't bring the heart stones home. I leave them with the hope that someone else sees the beauty in them! I do keep little stones though, and we have several big glass jars filled with them.

Mare: I have never played Hearts. When it comes to games I am usually the loser! One game I do like to play on the computer is Solitaire, then I am the winner!

You and my Darling Sissy have hearts on the BRAIN! I can't see them the way you two do.

WOW! I still have a heart rock Clytie gave to me in my purse. I treasure it.

I loved seeing all these heart rocks. Thank you!
