As I am sure you all know, Ashton and Tiz celebrated big days yesterday. I wanted to share photos of Tiz in her birthday attire. Ashton bought a Happy Birthday sign to hang along with the Congrats Grad signs and gave Tiz a birthday crown and sash. Thanks Ashton for being so kind to your cousin and for sharing your special day. Tiz proudly wore the ensemble to the Grand March last night and told me that she was so "proud" of her sash.
Friday is a very special day in my household....in case anyone doesn't know (!) Ashton Anne is graduating from high school. HOWEVER, there is also another very, very special event occuring as well. My charming niece Elizabeth is turning 9 years old! Its very nice that Elizabeth has been gracious enough to share her big day with Ashton. Who knew that two special people would share big events in their lives on the same day!
Could there be a Christmas helper any cuter?
You may remember I posted a blog about Elizabeth and my big day visiting the Fairy Village at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. I enjoyed our special day together. It was fun to watch as she discovered the various fairy houses and to give her her very own digital camera to record our visit. We must start planning a visit again soon!
Elizabeth tried out some make-up while watching Ashy get ready for a dance. Not too many years before she will be dressing up and going off to her first big dance!

Awww how sweet of you to take the time!!! I told her that she has an extra birthday, because its a day Ashy will remember forever!! LOVE YA! (oh, and I must remember to stop and get tissues this morning)
Happy Birthday and Congratulations! You have such a beautiful, happy extended family. This is such a terrific celebration and I love the photos.
