Cheryl, What an accomplishment. Glad you were able to do the walk - it looks like a fine day! I looked for a heart and decided that flaming tree is kind of a heart shape!
Lin Floyd: I have to admit that no, I am not a grandma...yet. The baby belongs to a friend of my daughter's and we take him into our home sometimes, mostly for me to rock him! He is almost 5 months old and a joy. He came into the world two months early and has blossomed into a healthy little boy. I do have the granddog though....
Barb: I too agree with you about the tree. That is as close as I could come to a heart, I was being so careful in walking that I didn't look for hearts!
rainfield61: Your lovely comments are also a joy to receive and read! Thank you.
Wanda: I can't take credit for a grandbaby, only a granddog! The baby belongs to a friend of my daughter's, she takes him sometimes to help out the very young parents...we love him though as if he were our own! And I missed any hearts there were...guess I was just keeping all my concentration on my feet and not falling!
grammie g: I know! I am slipping indeed! I blame it on just being careful on the walk, very uneven sidewalks in places and then on the side of the roads..and my eyes are always looking at the sweet "borrowed" baby my daughter brought along for his first carriage ride! Hope you are well!
Carol: Hi there. Thanks for stopping by. I was delighted that I actually completed the three miles! I used to be able to walk 4-5 miles a day, now with fibro I am happy to do one mile. BUT, I am never giving up...at least I can walk and that is a blessing. Hope you are doing well!
Cheryl, this is wonderful and how sweet that your family was there too! I can imagine that it must be hard knowing you used to be able to do so much more but I think it's great that you did a 5K with fibro. That is awesome! Keep it up!
Lucy the Cat: Thank you for stopping by and leaving your sweet comment. It was nice to be able to walk as a family. The walk route was beautiful. The orange tree was just gorgeous.
Lois Evensen: Hi there. Oh the maple was just beautiful! Almost ablaze with color. Hope all is well with you.
Brenda Kay Ledford: It was a walk for raising funds to work with young girls. A wonderful organization that helps girls become whatever they want to be and to have healthy body/mind issues. I am already planning on walking for the third time next fall!

That must be a great walk.
The further you walk, the more you will write.
And the more I can read.
Even the grandbaby attended!!!
Looks like a partially hidden heart-shape on the ground behind the man at marker 3 also, Cheryl!
