Miss Bella will be trick-or-treating in her banana split costume. I found the costume a few weeks ago and couldn't resist purchasing one for Buddy and one for Bella. 
Isn't this the cutest costume?? Buddy doesn't mind wearing his, I think with the cool weather that we have had lately it keeps him warm. However, he is not a big fan of the hat.
Everytime I look at the costume I get a craving for a banana split....Hope everyone has a fun Halloween!
Introducing our first grandpup....Bode. He is a Goldendoodle and came to meet us a couple of weeks ago. He is 10 weeks old in these photos. He came right in and lay down beside the couch, a spot he likes to lay in at home as well.
He sat with his "grammy" and BuddyTheElf soon climbed into my lap, I think to make sure no one was going to take his place! 
Who can resist this sweet little puppy??
On Friday Mark and I took another "field trip", this one to the Fryeburg Fair. Fryeburg is located near the Maine state line with New Hampshire. Its a beautiful area and we had lovely views of the mountains and the foliage was beautiful.
We checked out an exhibition hall filled with wagons of all kinds. I liked the popcorn wagon.
A colorful midway...and packed with people. This was about the only open space I spotted! It was a clear, cool day and perfect for wandering about the fairgrounds.
Can I have one please?
We enjoyed the 4-H exhibition hall. There were lots of cows, sheep and goats. I could spend most of the day looking at the animals.
There were all kinds of exhibits...from Christmas trees to tractor trailer trucks, metal roofing, saunas, craft halls and motorcycles, lawn mowers and of course dozens and dozens of food booths. There were Thai, Chinese, Philippine and Greek food booths, fudge, waffle cones full of homemade ice cream, apple crisps, pies, fried dough and funnel cakes and of course hot dogs, pizza and hamburgers. I couldn't believe my eyes when we passed a fried whoopee pie booth! I did manage to do some Christmas shopping at one of the craft booths. I purchased a scarf for Ashton and the nice lady at the booth showed me how to tie the scarf I was wearing in a different way! Now thats what I call great customer service!
Mark had to try some food from here...he had lived in the Philippines when he was a young boy and loved the native food.
There were several pet booths...this doggie bakery had some yummy looking treats! I was almost tempted to take a sample...
And as a brand new grandpuppyparent I couldn't resist buying our new grandpup Bode (he is 10 weeks old, a goldendoodle)a fleece jacket for upcoming winter walks. All in all, we had a wonderful day in the outdoors. Now to think of an idea for our next field trip....
