Hearts around us

Even though the calendar says its spring, it hasn't felt that way weather-wise. We have had lots of rainy days, cold days and nights and the sun seems to be playing hide and seek. But I have been walking in between raindrops and found some hearts to share. Cannot help but smile whenever a heart shows up!

Do you see the big heart in the grass? I love this heart!

We had a few inches of snow on April Fool's Day....it wasn't a very funny joke! I spotted this heart while we hiked Porters Preserve, the snow was pretty as it highlighted the green on the stump and showed off a pretty heart that I might have missed otherwise.

The ferns have stayed so pretty even throughout winter. Perhaps its Mother Nature's way of showing us cheer.

Even the seaweed on the shore captured a heart.

This photo makes me feel hopeful, a sign from above indeed.

Last weekend we spotted this eagle in a tree across the road. It was accompanied by two smaller eagles, brown in color and one would swoop down to the river and the other would sit and wait its turn. What an amazing treat!

I will post soon about a new addition to our family!

I'm glad you were able to get out and find these hearts in spite of the weather. I'm also glad you spotted those eagles.

I found rock hearts for you along the trail around Devil's Tower the other day. I'm sure I could have found many more. I'll have to remember to post them.

You have such a good eye for finding hearts everywhere. I do enjoy seeing them in your posts. Hubby and I would be so excited to have seen the eagles as you did. We have been watching live cam of eaglets from their hatching. The first one hatched April 2, next one April 3 and finally the last one hatched April 6. We watch them every day here and there throughout the day. You got a pretty great photo of this eagle.

It's like with people's age(chronological age and biological age), so with the weather - formally, spring, actually still winter.
We need both a strong..heart and a soft.. heart to deal with age and weather issues.

Hi Cheryl, love your pics, and the 2 dogs are really cute.
Guess they keep you occupied too.
And those trees with the woodpecker made holes looks very interesting.
You really have an eye for things we normally miss.
You keep well, best regards.
Lee.

Hello Cheryl, I just realized you had accepted my invitation to All Carol All the Time. Wonderful! Hope you are well and enjoying the wonderful warmth of this gorgeous summer we are having. As you know, I do understand about chronic pain with the Lyme disease I have had problems with. If you'll become a follower on All Carol All the Time it will add your picture to the list and that would be so cool. Don't forget you can post on the blog too. Hope you'll leave us all a message soon. Wishing you a beautiful weekend, my friend.
Carol
